The new school year has started here at Lilia's Place! We continue to set new records with the number of children being sponsored to attend school. This year we will have more than 160 children sponsored! $25 a month will help a child attend school and provide books, supplies, uniforms, meals and medical care. Please let us know if you would like to sponsor one of our beautiful kids!!

We recently moved into a new facility to house all of our ministry operations. We are now leasing our own four story building near downtown Cebu! It includes a large, open meeting space for church, lunch feedings and other gatherings. It also houses our Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade classrooms, nurse's office, administration office, library, computer lab and room to expand for future classrooms.

We received the news that ALL of our Bezner Learning Center ALS students passed their certification exam! Five will be moving on to college or technical school and the other one is continuing in the high school program. The Alternative Learning System (ALS) is similar to receiving a GED in the States.

This new school year will our second year to partner with Zion's Praise Music, Inc. to provide music instruction to the students at Lilia's Place School. The children can choose to learn the drums, voice training, violin, keyboards or guitar. This is an awesome opportunity since most children never have the chance to learn about music or how to play an instrument. Below is a video showing some of our Lilia's Place students in action.
